The message during a rain delayed match is “Due to bad weather conditions, we are presently unable to bring you LIVE telecast of the match against ….. Highlights of match… is shown in the interim.”
This is a remarkably vague message that seems to indicate that SetMax is having technical issues with the coverage rather than a delay in the match. Given that they already had a blackout of 1.5 hours in an earlier game (due to technical reasons), I am usually not sure if the match is going on or not.
Why not simply say the following and give a time when they will check back on the status?
The match between … has been delayed due to rain. The next update will be at x hours.
